CRYSTAL is back and ready for hard work

Tractor, which works in winter and summer, under any conditions, without exhaustion. Farmers appreciate it for its power and robustness. The tractor which made the Czech manufacturer of tractor famous all over the world 50 years ago. Which tractor are we talking about? It is ZETOR CRYSTAL, the most powerful tractor in ZETOR portfolio. The ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. announce that the new generation of ZETOR CRYSTAL is coming soon.

The new six-cylinder tractor with the maximum power of 171 HP will be presented to the world on August 23 as part of the start of “Země živitelka” farming show in České Budějovice, Czech Republic. Customer will be able to order the tractor from this day on.

“CRYSTAL is coming back in the year of celebrating the 50th anniversary of being launched. While talking to our customers, they often tell us that they wish that ZETOR extended the offer of tractors with a higher power. Therefore, the new CRYSTAL takes ZETOR back to the segment of up to 170 hp. I wish that the new generation of the tractor found its way to the customers and continued in its success so far,” says Marián Lipovský, Managing Director, ZETOR TRACTORS a.s.

If compared with the previous model from 2015, the new tractor brings several innovations. It is equipped with well-established six-cylinder Deutz engine with a displacement of 6.1l and maximum power of 171 hp. The engine meets STAGE IV emission standard. The tractor is equipped with ZETOR ECO 40 transmission which has already been used in the FORTERRA model range. At the maximum speed of 40 kph, it works in economical 1,750 rpm. Among other innovations of CRYSTAL, there is a multifunctional control panel with electrically controlled hydraulic sections, a new dashboard, comfortable swivel seat and other improvements increasing cabin ergonomics. Of course, it is also equipped with front axle suspension. The tractor is equipped with a multiple safety increasing features, such as brakes (hydraulic control of front axle brakes and pneumatic control of rear axle brakes), panoramic rear-view mirrors inside the cabin, sensor incorporated in the operator’s seat which switches off PTO if the operator leaves the seat, etc.
